# What is a macro?

Alobees offers an integration with Google Sheets (equivalent to Excel).

The macro is a custom development done by [Alobees](https://www.alobees.com/en/). The standard macro integrates the following elements for payroll preparation:

* Automated calculation of hours per employee.

* Calculation of overtime increased by 25% or 50%.

* Automated calculation of baskets.

* Automated calculation of travel zones according to company scales. 


### Here's a list of prerequisites:

* Have a Google account.

* Login to Google Sheets. 

* Click on add-on

* Importing hours

* Select the desired period
